Example 6: When I was a sophomore in university, I took part in an English Speech Competition. As it was the first time that I had given a speech to the public, I felt so nervous that even my voice was trembling. But suddenly, the efforts I had made to prepare the speech, the encouragement coming from my classmates occurred to me. Somehow, I was full of power and guts（勇气）. “The process is more important than the result.” Since I had done my best to do the speech, I would never regret. With those ideas, I calmed down and smiled. Finally, I made it and won the first prize.

That was a tiny but important experience in my life. It shaped my heart, increased my confidence and encouraged me to go on. I find myself doing a lot of soul searching and reminiscing. I find myself want to start all over again.

I will cherish this experience forever as I reluctantly（不情愿地）close the door on my high school life. Then confidently, I start my new life in the university.
