Example 3: As a traditional reading medium, newspaper plays a vital role in providing the latest news for us. But in recent years, Internet has greatly influenced our daily life and even our reading habits.

Based on the fact that more and more people began to search information from the Internet,it seems that Internet tends to replace the position of the newspaper. Well,I don’t think we have thought deeply about this question.

Compared with newspapers, Internet truly has many obvious advantages. Its huge amount of information and linking function has largely extended（扩展）our choices. Besides, we not only can read words from the Internet, see a variety of pictures and videos, which appeals to（吸引）most people. what’s more, Internet makes it possible for us to express our own opinions directly and communicate with each other. Maybe all of these features can never be achieved by newspapers. But a proverb says,everything has its two sides. People are usually addicted to different kinds of interesting information and finally forget their original（最初的，本来的） purposes.

For me, I still prefer to read news from the newspaper. Wherever I am, I can hold a newspaper no matter whether there is the equipment or not. No limitation（限制）makes it so convenient and easy to get. Moreover, keeping a same posture（姿势）for a longtime is bad for our health, but you can change it if you feel uncomfortable while reading newspapers. In addition, newspapers are created by many reporters and editors, and every piece of news is selected from large amounts of information,but Internet only serves as the copy of the huge amount of information. In fact, web news doesn’t have the reporting right.

Newspaper and Internet are two different means for getting the news, either of which has its own unique features. Who will be the final winner? I think only time can tell us the answer.

Brief Comment（简评）：Example 3的思路比较独特，先扬后抑。首先探讨了网络的优点，如信息量比较大、功能比较多等。但接着指出凡事都有两面性，对于自己而言，更趋向于读报。报纸比较便捷，便于携带，长时间一个姿势坐在电脑前对健康不利，报纸的信息相比较更真实—些，经过了严格仔细的筛选。Example 3比较俏皮，最后坦言时间会证明一切的。
