The souvenirs mean a lot for me. Firstly, as a souvenir of a scenic spot, it can remind us of the spot. Let’s take the photos for example. They can reflect the local scenery and customs. In addition, local traditional handicrafts（手工艺，手工艺品，手艺）are usually of exquisite（优美的，精致的）craftsmanship（技能，技术） and of high value for collectors. Secondly, the souvenirs can serve as a bridge among the people. So it can promote the friendship for us. It’s really a good idea to buy a souvenir for your friends as a present, which will remind them of your kindness from time to time. Thirdly, nowadays, the souvenirs have been an important way of developing the tourism. So if we buy a souvenir, we can make a little contribution to the development of local economy.
By the way, some souvenirs are of poor quality and are not characteristic. I think that they aren’t valuable at all and there is no market for these goods.
All in all, a good souvenir is really a treasure.
Example 5: l am fond of traveling. Even though I haven’t traveled to many places, I do try my best to remember every trip of mine, usually, by means of buying a wealth of souvenirs.

Example 6: l love traveling, and it’s my habit to buy some souvenirs for my families as well as for my friends, of course, some for myself. They don’t need to be expensive but at least, they are supposed to represent the local characteristic. As far as I’m concerned, this is a good way to show our love for those who are important in our life, also these souvenirs can remind me of the good time in my exciting travels. Meanwhile, they are evidence to prove that I have been there. After returning from my travel, I like gathering my friends and share my unforgettable experience with them. It’s a great pleasure for me to hear their admiration for my souvenirs.
